Nigeria is set to benefit from a $630 million funding window backed by the UK through Manufacturing Africa to support growing Nigerian enterprises, with the initiative targeting 23 businesses and the creation of more than 20,000 jobs.

The programme includes a new capital-raising toolkit designed to help Nigerian companies access commercial finance, expand their operations and create employment, while strengthening opportunities for businesses to scale into regional and international markets.

You can only improve on it especially with the N4 trillion legacy debt in the sector

For academic purposes, the ₦4 trillion power debt isn’t Tinubu’s making. It’s years of poor liquidity in the sector finally coming due.

PBAT Government has been trying in the verification and clearing of these legacy debts. He has approved N3.3 trillion full-and-final settlement and also fixing transmission bottlenecks.

There is improvement in revenue collection and we have on board more mini grids and off grid power. Recently there was call to application for metering training for young Nigerians.

Truth is, more power generation alone won’t fix this. Gas, generation, transmission, distribution, metering, payment…the whole chain has to work together. Tegbe mentioned that some weeks back

President Tinubu is playing the long game, fixing the foundation, not just the symptoms.

Today, the story is changing. Under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and through the commitment of the Honourable Minister of Works, Sen. Engr. David Umahi, CON, the Ikot-Ekpene–Aba–Owerri Road (Phase II) is receiving the attention and transformation it deserves.

This project is about more than asphalt and concrete. It is about better connectivity, safer journeys, stronger businesses, easier movement and greater opportunities for the communities along the corridor.

This is what purposeful leadership looks like, turning promises into visible projects and creating infrastructure that directly impacts the lives of Nigerians.

The journey must continue. The work must not stop.
