Hi all, bringing the website (https://t.co/D4Wb2ILNy0) down for some essential maintenance work. This will take a few hours. Will post update when done. Thanks :)
Currently an issue with our website hosting - apparently a DOS attack. Hosting company is dealing with it (hopefully) and should be up and running soon. Sorry for any inconvenience.
The https://t.co/Nx4JiIkwLq website is down at the moment due to problems with the New York data centre. If you are a member then apologies for the inconvenience.
This budget automatic watch made by Cadisen and featuring a Hattori NH36A movement was dead on arrival - join me as I investigate why!

Having website problems today over on https://t.co/8MfZdewi5C if you are experiencing problems getting to the site then please bear with me - working really hard to resolve it :(
I have compiled a useful list of watch parts and tools suppliers based around the world. https://t.co/mM74pEg5BY - If you can think of any good ones that I missed out then please comment their website and I will update the list.
Just uploading a new #watchrepair video ... A 1960s Seiko Automatic 6216A Restoration and Full Service Watch Repair Tutorial ... video available here... https://t.co/106S4qxr9h
Seems like a good candidate for a tutorial demonstrating the use of stem extensions. This one has a rusty stem and all the chrome has come off the crown. Bonus Video Ep.6 "Stem Extensions" is now available

So it's a go-ahead on the Valjoux 7750 project. I made a start today, did a lot of work picking the parts, de-rusting and cleaning. Not sure if the parts I picked will play nice together, but we shall see.
@TRSCP I can recommend the canon 100mm f2.8 macro, you dont need the L version and they can be gotten for reasonable price 2nd hand. That with a 24-70 f2.8 will be a golden setup for making watch repair videos. Just make sure the minimum focus distance of the 24-70mm is close enough.
