@anna_p_neumann Europe is lost, either to the Communists, the Muslims, or the Russians and probably a combination of all three.
The best the US can hope for is to try to salvage the UK, Ireland, and Iceland.
And also poor Poland, stuck in the middle of another European shit show.
@alex_avoigt How long has the EU defense indrustry dithered and not built a simple fighter jet together? You think another EU joint venture is going to ever get close to a Starlink competitor in any reasonable length of time?
@Kidar182@RiesebosC@RockyHuff3 You can’t just stop extracting oil without causing irreversible, catastrophic, mechanical damage to the system.
You also can’t because it would destroy the local economy in the provinces the Canadian gov wants not to leave.
@CurrenticAI@NinaDSchick You mean Europe is just going to stop making EUVs for the US? How does th: EU propose to force a private company to stop selling to its majority customer?
All that would do is delay things and force the US to develop its own EUV manufacturing.
@BradBunny_@BaseballBros It’s been a while, but there is hope that those cities someday get better ownership or luck into a QB and go on a run. Their being bad has nothing to do with market size, where the MLB
bad teams can’t change their market size. The Browns are 3-2 and look like they have a future.
@SchwartztoNYI I’m a Braves fan and I don’t understand how a kid from Miami can grow up to be a Miami fan. They haven’t had real hope in years and none on the horizon because ATL/NYM/PHI will always outspend them. You can’t say the same about the Dolphins. Hit on one QB or coach and there hope.
@NiohBerg Why not let them govern themselves? Should the Persians just rule over the Baloch forever just because of a map?
If that’s the case the US can just present a map that shows it rules over Hormozgan.
@StlSports314@BaseballBros But the others have dynasties that can change. Like in the NFL it can Indy for a while, then it can be KC, then Buffalo. Similar cities in the MLB would never have long term success.
TB can be good for a little bit but poor cities with bad management never have hope for decades
@MattGross87@baseballisdead_@JeffPassan I don’t care if we don’t have baseball in 2027 if that means we get a salary cap… and I’m a Braves fan whose team might suffer some from a cap.
