Established Aug, 2023 in response to heavy handed water use policies by SNWA. Policies that are doing serious damage to Southern Nevada’s future habitability.
SNWA Finally being Confronted on Abusive Policies under AB356 - Destroying Mature trees that mitigate Heat Island. They were sued yesterday. https://t.co/raRNMYyre4
@W4Nevada It certainly is and should be used wisely. What is being done currently is the robbing of Peter's well to give to Paul's well until both wells go dry. We must protect and EXPAND our water supply, not give away to member states who have not upped their recycling game.

SNWA is at it again, targeting another group and draining residents pocket books.....The health department has created new regulations governing individual sewage disposal systems and liquid waste management, without identifying a specific problem to solve. If you have a septic system you should get involved. Today there was a workshop that residents were not directly notified of.....

Check out this article! Too bad the writer left out the most telling SNWA response during the hearing…. Those non complaint are “Price Insensitive” and if they want more grass and more trees they have to pay for it!” The hubris and damage is outrageous. https://t.co/yBa3MRPr29
Assembly Bill 104, SNWA/LVVWD sneaks language into a bill that covers their butts for overreaching on EXCESSIVE USE CHARGE PENALTIES. Never got a hearing, never got read......Section 21.3 of Amendment #523....Just last week John Entsminger, GM, SNWA/LVVWD was touting their TRANSPARENCY...... See more here... https://t.co/HxCZAVKmFB
Great News! SB143 was passed out of the full Senate yesterday and will now go to the Assembly for a hearing. Date not yet scheduled. This bill is a first step to creating much needed oversight into water policies that are devastating homeowners investments and consequently Southern Nevada’s air quality and overall habitability. It has become obvious that too much power is consolidated at the County and the overseers are now ingrained in bureaucracy as opposed to protecting Southern Nevada!

The LVVWD advertises the testing that is done to assure us that our water quality is safe. Analysis of over 320,000 samples from more than 55,000 sources with "real time monitoring conducted 24/7 throughout the year". WHO IS MONITORING THE MONITORS?
Become more aware of Southern Nevada’s water security. Should we be destroying existing mature landscaping and consequently the trees that offer us protection as the temperatures rise? What are scientists saying about the future habitability of Southern Nevada and soil health?
@DrewForNevada It is the height of hypocrisy and our quality of life has been compromised. The “saplings” won’t replace what is being lost every day. SNWA/LVVWD policies must be investigated and audited from top to bottom. A river of money flows through these entities that has become obscene.
