@merchantarthurn Well i think u did a very good job at analysing them! At first look i barely could tell the difference between most of the holds until u pointed some things out (• ▽ •;)
@merchantarthurn 100% agree, being aware of how most people eventually will adapt it for their comfort or a specific porpuse was what made me interested in seeing how different people that write/draw a lot hold their tools :3 thnx for the mini convo penholder master!!(ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*✧
@merchantarthurn But a few do show some different holds or tweaks. For example one of my friends uses her pinky has a balance point from paper to hand. She is also an artist like me so it did made me curious how artists/writters VS common folks could have different grips for a longer use of tools
@merchantarthurn I mainly got interested in the topic because i always was on the "u hold ur pens wrong" boat. But after seeing that there's different grips for different styles and materials I wondered more about not only my own has the one of my peers. Most seem to have a schoolar like grip
Since I already found panels where people hold their pens, I thought I'd do a cheeky round up of how everyone holds their pens because of this interview response! Hope you enjoy!🧵
@colligocritters That sounds like some bizarre apocalyptic plot for a story & its happening irl!?.. Am not exactly a bug lover (many scare me) but no creature deserves that. Humans are too pretentious others lifes aren't our weapons just because they don't speak in ways we cared to understand :(
@colligocritters And even *if* they aren't conscious we should have a conscience to not do this sorta thing. Am really sorry, it really is an horrible thing I hope u can help the bugs get some rights /gen
@colligocritters Exactly because its something out of physical science finds it hard to prove, i see :/ Maybe if you focus on specific species you can get them rights same way people are trying to get for octopus and other marine animals that are very smart but we still hunt for food! Good luck🪲
