The fourth MTP County Dissemination Forums - 5th June, 2024, Samburu County. The Cabinet Secretary Water, Sanitation and Irrigation Hon. Zachariah Njeru EGH, today was the Chief Guest during the County Dissemination Forum in Maralal town.

NWWDA conducted road safety sensitization program targeting boda boda riders. The objective of this initiative was to raise road safety awareness &improve road safety conditions. One aspect of the program involved distribution of reflector jackets to enhance visibility of riders.

NWWDA is participating the Water and Sanitation Investors Conference (WASIC) 2024 in KICC, Nairobi. The conference started on 6th March and will end 8th March 2024. The theme for the conference is "Accelerating Investments for Sustainable Access to Water and Sanitation for All".

Internal Security Cabinet Secretary Prof. Kithure Kindiki led in planting thousands of trees.
The Agency Chairperson Hon. Nasri Sahal and CEO took part in the exercise.
Our Agency donated some of the trees that were planted and Plastic Tanks.

Today, Northern Water Works Development Agency fraternity joined other Kenyans in planting trees during the event dubbed "National Tree Growing Day".
The major tree planting exercise in Garissa County was held at Garissa University.

He also emphasised on team spirit and unity of purpose in execution of the institution’s mandate. The CEO promised to provide conducive working environment and right leadership to enable the agency achieve in its mandate.

The Chairperson of Northern Water Works Development Agency (NWWDA) Hon Nasri Sahal Ibrahim , officially introduced the New substantive Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Andrew Rage Eysimkele, to the Agency’s staff.

The Chairperson of NWWDA Hon. Nasri Sahal Ibrahim joined fellow Chairpersons from various State Corporations  in a tree planting exercise at Ngong forest on 14th June 2023 in a bid to embrace the over 30% tree cover initiative.

The 20m high Bakuli 4 dam in Marsabit Town. The dam has a storage capacity of 300000m3. It is designed to supply 1200m3 of water per day for treatment and domestic use , an increase from about 258m3/day.

The peak was commissioning Lodokejek water project at Lodokejek Primary Sch. the venue of the World Water Day celebrations themed “accelerating change”. He also commissioned a demonstration farm (Supported by NIA and SMACH Foundation- whose patron is Charlene Ruto) at the school

Northern Water Works Development Agency (NWWDA) hosted the 31st edition of World Water Day which was held in Samburu County on 22nd March 2023. The chief guest was PS Water and Sanitation Dr. Kipronoh Ronoh

The activities of the day included a visit to Yamo Dam, Courtesy call to the Governors’ Office, Samburu County where the PS witnessed Signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Non-Revenue Water between NNWWDA and County Government of Samburu.
