Today we met the farmers in the #Gezirascheme to understand how their manage #soil, #water and #crops in one of the most extended and old irrigation scheme in Sudan. Apart of a fruitful sharing of know-how, it was an intense experience of hospitality and friendship. #grateful

في يوم الأربعاء الموافق 5 يناير، قام وفد من مركز ابحاث المياه، جامعة الخرطوم بزيارة إلى خزاني الروصيرص وسنار، بغرض إجراء دراسة بحثية متعلقة بكيفية التشغيل الآمن لهما في حال حدوث فيضان غير متوقع بما يضمن سلامتهما وتقليل آثار الفيضان على المناطق أسفل النهر بقدر الإمكان.
