Hundreds of salmon are now spawning in Klamath River tributaries above the 4 recently dismantled dams for the first time 60 & 112 years. It is exciting and bodes well for the future. Still, it will take several years for fish runs to recover & there is still much more work to do.
Help support new legal protections for #Instream flows and #NativeFish in the middle #WillametteRiver basin. Approval falls to the #OWRD so it's important for those of us who love #Oregon#Rivers weigh in with our support — and we've made it easy to do so. https://t.co/JiNbkRWOhR
For the first time since 1912 (the year the #Titanic sank) biologists with @MyODFW photographed a fall-run #Chinook#Salmon returning to spawn in an upper tributary of the #KlamathRiver above the former #JCBoyleDam site weeks after dam removals concluded. https://t.co/IyegLtjHqT
