“Westdijk piles cute characters and culture clashing on top of heartbreak, guilt and loss for a warm comedy that hits you in unexpected ways.” Movie review WATERBOYS: https://t.co/JZ4BX3OL7Q

#cinemember #ondemand

Dutch film-maker @rjwestdijk made this movie a couple of years ago. It's a cool road trip through Scotland, a great story, and features the Waterboys (the band) playing several songs in concert. https://t.co/mVZhQApY1d

As a Scottish child of the 80s I'm here for how many films & TV shows are currently featuring 'The Whole of the Moon" by The Waterboys. Young people, it's glorious!

Hit it off with affable and passionate Dutch director Robert Jan Westdijk after @VicFilmFestival premiere of his quirky, moving father and son road movie #Waterboys. He found #yyj response intoxicating. He won’t be confused with Paul Verhoeven. Killer soundtrack by The Waterboys
