We campaigned against the destruction of 4 parks costing in excess of Β£11m. We lost. Now we fight against Welsh Labour & Welsh Lib Dems who ignored us π³
@neiljmcevoy βWhen communities are ignored and disadvantaged, society breaks down. Labour in Cardiff has closed down almost EVERY youth centre in the City.β
Totally agreeπ
@RC_Garrioch Agreed. Did you bring your Labour colleague to task at his abusive comment towards me over the weekend? I strongly feel families must be left out of political arguments. In my life, the invasion of our family privacy by Labour politicians has been extreme. WRONG for any family.
My complaints to @cardiffcouncil about the treatment of homeless families at @holidayinn Coryton, Cardiff are being processed. I have asked for the Council's corporate support in dealing with the managers obstruction of me doing my civic duty. @Greg88williams
@chichygirl He voted to close virtually every youth centre in the city and voted to put Β£2 million into reserve, instead of the youth service. How local politicians vote is essential.
When communities are ignored and disadvantaged, society breaks down. Labour in Cardiff has closed down almost EVERY youth centre in the City. At the same time these #RedTories massively increased the pay of top managers & also introduced a new tier of extra management.
@425Noelle Young people killed in an accident involving police, followed by a riot basically. The area has been neglected for years, with things boiling over sadly.
@HolyMolythe3rd@theterrywalton@IoloWilliams2@cardiffcouncil 19k houses could have been built of brown field sites. We don't need million Β£ properties, but affordable family homes. Housing should also be done regionally whilst looking at travel networks
@bmikey67 Dill was a great man. He gave me faith when I was a kid. Brilliant priest, with a gift to communicate with youngsters. He had such authority, whilst being completely unauthoritarian.

A reminder of the crucial importance of nature to our planetary health.
With so many green, wild spaces under threat and increasing numbers of species endangered we need urgent action from every level of government.

In the first case of its kind in the UK, a teacher who refused to call a troubled girl "a boy", as he felt this would inflict more mental harm on her, has, on behalf of the Education Secretary, been banned from teaching indefinitely for "a lack of remorse" https://t.co/ERkNBtJgWR
