Not the only or even the oldest EV at @caryncgov’s Wheels on Academy. The 2011 @Tesla Roadster I’ve parked near at the past two fall National Drive Electric Month events at @NCState’s Carter-Finley stadium, hosted by @NCCleanTech, registered early for today’s car show.

@AlejandroEV66 Someone just wasn’t paying attention when they were connecting the cables. Or if they were preconnected they just put those two HYC400s on the wrong ends.🤷🏻‍♂️ I pointed it out to IONNA so I imagine a cable swap is imminent.

@CyberTrailRnner Did you notice their Instagram account below the right rear window? They’ve got 346 followers from 5 posts so far. They even made stickers to give to folks they meet along the road. “Don’t be shy, come over and say hey.” I would’ve opted for “hi”, for the rhyme.🤷🏻‍♂️

Spotted new EV in the “neighborhood”, less than a mile from the house. Well new to them, given the Nissan dealership plate frame on a @Lexus RZ. Just so happened I followed them into work as I was headed in to get labwork done. Also a @Rivian R1S in a different staff lot.

My budget truck topper gets a deep clean! If you’ve shopped for a truck topper before you’d know these things are crazy expensive ($4000-6000 new). I’ve been trying to find a deal on one for a year and finally settled on one from a 2003 F-150 for just $250. The catch? It’s been sitting in the mud for years!

First step - deep clean!

Also swung by Walmart Supercenter 4484, 8000 Town Dr. Its EV charging site is also waiting on its transformer. Four @alpitronic HYC400s, with 4 CCS & 4 NACS cables. Expansion for a 5th Alpitronic was tucked beside a parked GMC.

Swung by Walmart Supercenter 5118, 10500 Glenwood Ave, on Saturday. Its EV charging site is waiting on its transformer. First time visiting one of their locations with the fences down, the parking spaces are wide. Four @alpitronic HYC400s with 4 CCS & 4 NACS cables.

Swung by @Walmart Supercenter 4484, to check the progress on what should be their 1st EV charging site in the Triangle, a couple of minutes off I-540 in north Raleigh. Four @alpitronic HYC 400 Hyperchargers with a spot for a 5th. Transformer not on site yet. Read ALT image tags.
