Never a doubt Spain would win but Argentina is a hard team to kill. Credit to Argentina as outgoing champions for being so defiant against overwhelming odds. #FIFAWORLDCUP
Spain 🇪🇸 should beat the Argentinian 🇦🇷 piranhas today and claim their 2nd world cup. Both teams are cohesive and well coached but Spain has greater quality across the board and they are likely to score at least 2 or 3 while Argentina isn't.#FIFAWORLDCUP
The matter of fact nature of war for the militaristic Mycenaean Greeks did not require such sensitivity on Nolan's ##TheOdyssey. I'm not sure why so much of the psychological war burden was placed on Odysseus in the film.
Also, I was not in agreement with Nolan's dour interpretation of some aspects of ##TheOdyssey because War was a recurring feature of the ancient world. War was unavoidable especially with the rise and fall of empires.
The mythic elements of Nolan's #TheOdyssey are minimized in the film to appear realistic, especially the wiles of Odysseus and his interactions with certain mythic creatures. I was expecting to see more physical interactions with Greek gods other than Athena.
Nolan's #TheOdyssey spends a lot of time exploring Zeus' law and its reflection of the decline of Mycenaean Greek civilization. The strongest part of the film was the final act which includes an engaging confrontation with the suitors. Great performances as well 💫💫💫💫/5
England is a disjointed team but they should have enough quality to beat Argentina if they're on top of their game. Argentina is a more cohesive unit and that should be enough to defeat England. My heart says England 🏴 and my mind says Argentina 🇦🇷. #FIFAWorldCup
I support Spain 🇪🇸 to beat France 🇫🇷 but this game will be on a knife's edge. Spain's togetherness and possession game will give France problems but they have to score at least 3 to be certain of victory. Spain will also have to contain Olise. #FIFAWorldCup
The one weak link in Spain's team is the GK,
Unai Simón. France is going to target him and make him panic. He made many mistakes when Belgium applied serious pressure this afternoon.#FIFAWorldCup
Yey another case where Belgium plays off the ball for much of the 2nd half until Spain scores and now they want to play on the ball. Why not play with this intensity on the ball from the beginning? Why wait until Spain takes the lead before you play on the ball? #FIFAWorldCup.
I will never understand teams like Morocco 🇲🇦 who can play on the ball being so defensive and then being forced to open up after they go a goal behind. #FIFAWorldCup
The longer France takes to score the more Morocco 🇲🇦 will grow into the game and get quality chances. If Morocco scores first then France 🇫🇷 is in trouble. Morocco clearly has a good defensive scheme. #FIFAWorldCup
I’m crying man USMNT twitter just calling our players pussies for 12 hours straight while Brazilian Twitter is writing thesis projects on Neopentecostalism contributing to the downfall of the fabric of the national team
Here we go again: the #FIFAWorldCup is now the European invitational featuring Morocco and Argentina. So, do people still think it was worth expanding the tournament to 48 teams when the usual suspects are playing in the Quarter-finals?
