Great games don't tell players exactly what to do—they build systems that let players create their own stories.
From Zelda: BotW to Half-Life, the best experiences prioritize:
Emergent gameplay
Environmental storytelling

Huge progress update! Just finished migrating the whole project to UE 5.8 for much smoother performance and new voice-driven workflows. Plus, WaveTouch OS just got some massive internal upgrades for asset management and content generation. The pipeline is coming together! 🚀
A lot is happening behind the scenes right now.
It’s still early days, but the momentum is building. I'm looking forward to sharing what's next soon.
Count on learning how I use AI, custom pipelines, and high level design to setup a process for constant progress!
Website generation is getting easier.
Spent the morning filling out the site with generated images as placeholders. It's looking really good.
Now just need to add all the social media integration.

Amazing what fine tuned AI image prompts can get done for branding in a pinch!
I’m moving away from being a manual laborer in game dev.
No more exhausted repetitive clicks or endless sorting.
WaveTouchOS is built for "Real-Time Direction." The goal is to shift my role to an Architect—providing high-level intent instead of doing the grunt work.

@3rdEchoSounds Hey man check out RollingSampler by bird and Midicap. You run them as vsts and they use RAM to always be recording input. 10 mins of audio. 1 hr of midi. You drag and drop it into your DAW. I always have it running when I jam now and can pull ideas
@mindthunk So this review may light a fire inside. It took something like that for me to try elden ring cuz I thought I had it figured out from past games haha. How silly of me!
@mindthunk I wanted to say that I'm guilty of tapping out, but I jump a lot of games and I believe I got tutorial burn out before starting. By the time I played, the hype online and me trying to not have expectations led me to just "see" the game working and go "yeah okay cool". My fault.
