8.Safaricom + KCB Partnership
Safaricom and KCB launched a mobile savings and loan product.
By 2nd Aug 2016, KCB Mpesa loan disbursement hit Ksh 10 billion mark.
5.Safaricom + CBA (Mshwari)
In Nov 2012, Safaricom partnered with CBA bank in launching the Mshwari product.
Mshwari allows Mpesa users to save and borrow money straight from their mobile phones.
4.Safaricom + KPLC
30th July 2009, Safaricom extends Mpesa services to Kplc Customers.
Safaricom partnered with Kplc to allow their customers pay their electricity bills using mpesa.
No more queing at Kplc centres.
3.Safaricom + Western Union
In 31st March 2011, @SafaricomPLC and Western union sign an agreement allowing the 13.5 million Mpesa users to receive international money transfers from 45 countries and territories including the Us, Canada, Italy and the UK.
2.Safaricom + Pesapoint Partnership
In July 2008, Safaricom partnered with Pesapoint allowing Mpesa users to withdraw money from Pesapoint ATMs directly on their Safaricom line.
No ATM cards were needed for the Pesapoint withdrawals.

Safaricom built an agent network that was lean, well distributed geographically thus ensuring close proximity to customers.
Safaricom also grew their agent network at the same pace as their customer base.
