The new generation is coming in fast, and we have a duty as the wise generations that came before to pass down the knowledge they may never learn otherwise, or at least have to learn the hard way.
Much of what millennials need can be taught in school, but older generations have learned other lessons, from the "school of hard knocks". It's our responsibility to teach some of these lessons, because it's far better than learning it the hard way.
The millennial generation is smart and energetic, and pose a powerful force within the market. However, there are certain kinds of wisdom passed down from generation to generation which need to be taught by older generations. Have we been doing a sufficient job at this?

Millennials don’t like info being withheld from them, and they like to take their learning into their own hands. They know that all the information they desire is at their fingertips with the internet, and they will use that to their advantage.
Over time it can be easy to let the standards of a company degenerate if not monitored. Habits like hiring cheap and working hard do have benefits, but will not hold onto the best employees who could have their choice of where to work.
#Milennials know what they can achieve and what is best for them, and they don’t like to settle for less. If you want to be on the good side of this incoming generation, then construct your business in a way that enables the level of performance you desire.

Small companies are now becoming able to have much more sufficient high-level #analytics that can help them get ahead of those who are behind the trend. Now is the time to strike while the iron is hot, and step ahead of your competitors.
#Automation is giving the #supplychain process much potential to become drastically more efficient. A big aspect of that is decreasing the largest controllable cost, manpower. Now is the time to automate the supply chain and solidify your profitability for the future.
With the global shifts happening such as business coming in from Asia, strategies like markup-based schemes or high inventory that used to work well are going to begin falling behind with a rising cost to serve or inventory cost. https://t.co/l4aHUItjBA
