A false fire alarm sounded at East Elementary at approximately 10:15 a.m. today, Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024. The fire department has responded out of an abundance of caution to confirm that there is no smoke and there is no fire.

A fire alarm sounded at Waynesville High School at approximately 5:10 p.m. today, Thursday, Sept. 12, 2024. Out of an abundance of caution, firefighters have been called to the school to confirm that there is no fire or smoke.
Waynesville R-VI will not be using Traversa Ride360 for our transportation app this year, so you may wish to remove it. We are excited about the features our new app will offer; however, it is not yet ready to be implemented. We anticipate that it will be ready in late September!

Elementary Baseball Camp is cancelled for tonight and will begin tomorrow at Bandy Field (1502 Ousley Lane) starting at 6:30 p.m.
Camp dates will now run from July 17-19.
CORRECTED VERSION: Save the Date: A Transition Day will be held on Friday, Aug. 9, 2024, for ALL Waynesville High School students entering 9th grade and all NEW students to WHS who are entering grades 10, 11 or 12. Students will meet mentors, tour the building, etc.
