Today's Dua
"Our Lord! Let not our hearts deviate (from the truth) after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from You. Truly, You are the Bestower." (3/8)

When the Prophet ﷺ was asked about the best aspects of Islam, he replied:
“Feeding the hungry and saying salaam to those you know and those you don’t know.”(Bukhari)
Remember to say Salam to every Muslim you pass by, or who serves you in a shop or you see at work.
“Assalamu alaikum” is a du’a, wishing peace & wellbeing for your brother/sister. Don’t deny them that prayer and remember that their Salam could be the du’a that blesses your day!
Has it occurred to you that each time you pray, it could be your last? So take your time and develop a no-rush policy when praying to your Creator. May the Almighty be pleased with us and have Mercy on us all, the day He decides to take us.
It was narrated that Umm Salamah (RA) said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered upon Abu Salamah (after he had died), and his eyes were wide open. He closed his eyes, then he said: ‘When the soul is taken, the sight follows it.’”
(Sunan Ibn Majah 1454, Book 6, Hadith 22)
"Those who disbelieve have claimed that they will never be resurrected. Say, "Yes, by my Lord, you will surely be resurrected; then you will surely be informed of what you did. And that, for Allah, is easy.""
At-Taghabun 64:7
When you’re not trying to impress anyone but the Almighty, your whole life will take on a different perspective. Much of what you’ve been through will add a breath of fresh air to your life. Your habits, decisions, responses etc will change. You’re not worried what people think.
If you’re going through hard times now, remember it won’t last. You will become a better version of yourself because of what you endured. Hard times make you resilient. It may not feel so now but it will be worth it in the end. Just press on. Stopping is not an option.

لا إله إلا الله محمد رسول الله ⠀
lā ilāha illāllāhu muḥammadun rasūlu-llāh
There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah
Recite it from the bottom of your heart & Retweet
⠀
"رَبَّنَا آتِنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا"
Rabbana atina min-ladunka rahmatan wahayyi' lana min amrina rashada(n)
"Our Lord! Bestow on us mercy from Yourself, and facilitate for us our affair in the right way!"
[Al-Kahf 18:10]
The Almighty has created you for a purpose not for popularity. You’re not everyone’s cup of tea and that’s okay. Not everyone will like you and that’s okay too. Strive to please your Creator, not the creation. You’ll never be good enough for people. That’s the nature of life.
Let go of the disappointments, let go of what didn’t work out, let go of negativity, let go of yesterday’s baggage, let go of the hurt because of what someone said to you. Get your mind going in the right direction. Seek guidance from the Almighty. Let peace reign in your heart.
It’s the Almighty’s plan that you’ve made it this far. Many things could’ve halted your progress but you’ve moved past them with grit. Many times you were tempted to give up but you’ve managed to find light where it was dim. You are exactly where you need to be. Trust Him.
Sometimes what didn’t work out for you was indeed the best thing that happened to you. But you couldn’t see it then because you were lamenting the loss. You have to trust the Almighty in your journey. He will always map out the best plan for you. Trust the process.
