I love JC, & is helluva talent, but presented like OBA? He's got his strengths, but being a main player isn't where he was going to be WWE or AEW.
Where does he place in AEW? Don Callis Family? Collision? Not enough TV time to go around- ask Brian Cage and others.

However, they have 4 hours+overruns a week, even being stacked roster, the days of territories are of the past. Booking troubles evident. 2 many titles

@BasedCLC It’s just a terrible scenario.
Organizationally, they are flawed. Running a proper business is the problem. AEW is a business based on no fundamentals.
Spend money on talent, put on 6 hour paper per views, blood, drills, and keeping wrestling “insiders” happy.

So surpassing WWE wouldnt be the roadmap.
They'll satisfy a certain base of individuals, and WWE will continue to serve their certain base of individuals as they've been doing for generations.
You can't compare apples and oranges.

However, surpassing WWE will be a big endeavour (no pun intended).
Drawing 2k crowds, or 6k for PPV is a starting point, but to consider it a close race is a stretch.
Competition is healthy but predicated on business not personal fantasies.
