A teacher's badge shouldn't be a license to traumatize or enforce self-hatred. We need the Ministry of Education to strictly enforce the bans on corporal and verbal abuse, and protect students' cultural rights. Stop treating natural African hair like a crime.

Look at the history of Rasta culture in Kenya. To this day, anyone rocking locks is automatically labeled 'dangerous'. Why do we criminalize people for loving themselves. Locks are a symbol of self-assertion and heritage.
