Her name was Shakiya Pridgen.

She was 23, 9 months pregnant, asleep in bed with her 3-year-old and 1-year-old when the father of her unborn son walked up to her window and fired ELEVEN sh0ts through it.

He had already been indicted for m*rder once.

He served just 11 MONTHS.

Shakiya had her baby shower on Sunday, she was due in two weeks.

She had already picked out his name.

Kyren.

At 5:15 in the morning in Decatur, Georgia, police say a man walked up to the bedroom window he KNEW she slept under, and opened fire.

Her mother lived in the same apartment complex.

She heard the gunfire. She ran.

She found her daughter bleeding in that bed and did CPR on her own child on the floor while she waited for the ambulance.

She says she heard her daughter's last breath.

Shakiya passed away at the hospital.

Kyren never got to take a first one.

Her two babies were in that bed. Neither one was hit.

The man charged with k*lling them is Devin Anthony, a 26-year-old Black male.

He is her ex-boyfriend.

He is Kyren's father.

According to the arrest affidavit, they had recently broken up... and he was angry that she had chosen a name for the baby he didn't agree with.

He is charged with malice m*rder, and aggravated assault.

It getes worse.

In September 2021, Devin Anthony was indicted in Fulton County for the M*RDER of a man named Ronald Barner.

In November 2024, prosecutors cut him a deal.

M*rder was reduced to voluntary manslaughter under Georgia's First Offender Act.

His sentence for a man's life?

ELEVEN MONTHS... yes you read that right.

He walked out on probation.

FOUR MONTHS LATER, he m*rdered his own child and girlfriend.

Two babies woke up next to their mother's body.

A little boy named Kyren never opened his eyes.
