Scott Moe lost 13 seats last night. He could lose more. NDP won Manitoba & BC. Liberals won New Brunswick.
This is since Pierre Poilievre became leader.
If it was reversed, the media would say it was a vote against Trudeau.
This was a vote against Pierre Poilievre.
@ColinDMello@shernotcher@reggcohn@fordnation has considerably worse unemployment numbers than Wynne. 7.1 % is high. Does this make all of his commercials lies? What else is he lying about? Green belt? Hwy 413? Education? Healthcare (I think this one is the easiest gimme)? Developers?
A disatrous night for Pierre Poilievre and the Conservatives. They lose a Manitoba by-election they were expected to win and only get 11.6% of the vote in the Montreal by-election. But the media will only report on the Liberal loss to the Bloc Québécois.
POWERFUL... 🤌🏼
🟥 Mark Carney: “When politicians (like Pierre Poilievre) claim our great democracies are broken, it's not because they want to FIX them. It's because they want a license to DEMOLISH...
It's a model that has been USED time and time again: Create an external constraint to STARVE the beast of government, in a misguided view that SLASHING will lead to growing...
...When Poilievre shouts 'axe the tax!', he's really whispering, 'can the plan' and leaving us with NOTHING.
Demolition is NOT a plan.” 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
As Premier, I'll make it a priority to deliver a new, fair deal for Ontario's municipalities.
We will ensure our municipalities have the tools they need to deliver the services, and build the communities, our residents demand.

More and more high-profile Canadian doctors are speaking out against the rise of for-profit health care, arguing that companies charging patients to access primary care are violating the spirit, if not the letter, of the Canada Health Act. https://t.co/WSGSMZYJuE
Ontario has a globally praised system for monitoring diseases through wastewater. So why is the province shutting it down? by @IvanSemeniuk via @globeandmail #COVID19 https://t.co/LqeKj98bQ3

@TorontoStar Why don’t you talk about Pierre Poilievre’s GD attire. You know that goof who’s running for Prime Minister of Canada. In your own GD country. And while you’re at it, maybe comment on him visiting highway ditchbillies while inebriated himself. Holy fukk you clowns take the cake.
I'm getting backlash for stating that I believe Donald Trump's "assassination attempt" was staged.
So let me explain something....
In 2018, Donald Trump ignored the assassination of U.S based journalist Jamal Khashoggi after making a $110 million arms deal with the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman simply bcos the Prince was friends with Jared Kushner.
In 2019, at least 13 Ukrainian soldiers were killed when Donald Trump withheld military aid from Ukraine for "a favor" when he was looking for dirt on the Biden's.
In 2020, by the time Donald Trump left office, 400,000 Americans had died bcos he downplayed and denied the severity of a pandemic solely bcos he didn't want to admit he failed on a national scale by firing our pandemic response teams.
In 2021, after inciting an insurrection on our nations Capitol, as of January 2024 — 1,265 defendants across nearly all 50 states and D.C. and secured sentences of incarceration for more than 460 people - all bcos Donald Trump did not want to concede that he lost the election and tried staying in office BY FORCE.
On July 11, Donald Trump met with Hungarian dictator Viktor Orban right AFTER he met with Russians dictator Vladimir Putin.
TWO DAYS later, was Trump's attempted "assassination."
In May 2023, Donald Trump's favorite, most admired dictator, Vladimir Putin staged an assassination attempt.
You want to know why I believe Donald Trump's "assassination attempt" was staged — bcos Donald Trump doesn't give a damn about theatrics nor collateral damage as long as he is satisfied with the desired outcome HE INTENDED to achieve.
We can all tell by Donald Trump's court theatrics that he doesn't care about pulling a con or a grift as long as it leads to HIS desired results.
Donald Trump has sold NFT trading cards, Bibles, Victory47 cologne, gold sneakers, and now assassination sneakers — EVERYTHING Donald Trump does is a con and a grift.
And I, personally, do not think Donald Trump is above staging an attempted "assassination" to get the desired poll ratings and news coverage results HE wanted - collateral damage be damned.
And then, all you have to do, is look at all the inconsistencies and holes in the whole debacle. For example, one day he's not wearing an ear maxi pad, the next day he is. And it's quite a coincidence that mere hours after the shooting, shirts and other merchandise were already for sale online. And I don't believe in coincidences.
So hate me if you must - judge me if you need to - I don't believe any goddamn thing that involves Donald Trump.
On LCBO dividends being lost to Ontario, the context is Conservatives’ relentless drive to cripple government by shrinking all revenues. Underfunded services then fall into disrepair, allowing those same Conservatives to persuade us ‘the private sector does everything better’.🙄
Did you know the LCBO puts $2.5 billion into Ontario public services every year?
Money from #LCBO sales goes toward health care, education, housing, and more.
Doug Ford would rather that money went to his rich friends.
