@VeteransFdn The very sad point is we do not know how many veterans take their lives through suicide as they are not recorded. I think five a week might be a conservative calculation.
Great opportunity to learn about trauma / PTSD - & what our PTSD Resolution therapists can do to relieve the symptoms.
This is the latest workshop run by 'Just What We Need - Veterans' in Milton Keynes, & as the team says, “this is definitely not therapy.”

Suicide Bereavement UK developed guides for those bereaved by suicide in the AF community. Strength of these guides is that they are independent of any govt dept and have been written by the bereaved for the bereaved. 1st of their kind internationally.

I spent a weekend with Flanders @houndsforheroes at @ArmedForcesDay Plymouth. Speaking to lots of people about our British Armed Forces. Time and time again I heard about people from our younger generation applying for positions and giving up after waiting many months!
@BucksCouncil I find this post, and similar, quite amazing. For those who don’t remember we had a wet winter. The rainfall was 29% above average. However, now the problem is with the customer. Not the water companies who failed to capture the rain. Or make provision for a growing population.
@RAFView@gregbagwell@RoyalAirForce Having the @BBCNews discuss the different aircraft, the capabilities etc is, in my opinion, very good PR. But as always this is subjective and would require true business analysis to provide a definitive assessment.
@jayneasmith2@TPScheme Unfortunately I’ve had a couple of bits of misinformation since my start. It’s been nine months since I left work and although I’ve had some of my money and tax free payment my monthly pension have been missing for the last couple of months.
@jayneasmith2@TPScheme Hi @jayneasmith2 I have the same problem. For the second month I have not received my pension from @TPScheme. I have lodged two complaints and now it is time to take it higher to the Pensions Ombudsman. This is unforgivable.
Did you know that there is an NHS mental health and wellbeing service dedicated to the UK Armed Forces community in England? #OpCOURAGE#MentalHealthAwarenessWeek https://t.co/7oBgvLZZR2
