🚨 BREAKING: United Express Flight UA6144 has declared an emergency while approaching Houston after pilots reported multiple aircraft system failures.
During communications with air traffic control, the crew reported losing MAU 1A, a major avionics unit, alongside reduced braking capability and two of the aircraft’s four speedbrakes becoming inoperative.
“We’ve lost MAU 1A, which is half our computer system,” the pilot told controllers, before reporting that the aircraft had also lost half its brakes.
The flight is carrying 74 passengers and four crew members, with approximately 5,900 pounds of fuel remaining.
The pilots have requested to continue their arrival into Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport, targeting Runway 8R.
The situation is developing, with the aircraft’s landing status yet to be confirmed.

KING TIDES RISE ALONG BOTH U.S. COASTS AS FULL MOON DRIVES COASTAL FLOOD THREAT
A powerful FULL MOON is bringing unusually high KING TIDES to BOTH U.S. coastlines, with some of the highest water levels expected over the next 48 to 72 hours.
Coastal flood alerts are in effect from California to portions of the Atlantic coast, where rising seawater threatens low-lying roads, neighborhoods and waterfront communities.
Parts of California could see tides nearly 2 FEET above normal, while portions of Florida and Georgia face coastal flooding up to 3.5 FEET above normally dry ground during peak high tides!

📍 Phuket, Thailand
THAILAND | PHUKET FLOODED
Phuket has been brought to a standstill as heavy rains trigger widespread flash flooding.
Streets are submerged, traffic halted, and water has surged into shops, restaurants and local businesses — with Patong among the hardest hit.
#BreakingNews: Exceptionally high tides have already caused a large amount of flooding in Newport Beach Monday morning as crews work to reinforce sand berms along the beach.
So "King tides" are said to be from "astronomical alignments" yet the only places affected right now are the Florida coast and Southern California? 🤨 Funny how easily we just accept certain explanations on scientific faith.
The ocean is threatening homes in Southern California. 🌊 Near-record king tides are flooding coastal neighborhoods, and more flooding could be on the way in the coming months.

China: Scientists have identified the first surface rupture from the 22 October magnitude 7.0 Baqên earthquake in Tibet, about 15 km east of the epicentre.
The fault produced around 3.5 metres of vertical displacement, with up to 0.9 metres of left-lateral movement locally.
Investigators also found sand liquefaction and ground fissures. The earthquake was caused primarily by normal faulting as the crust stretched.
Thailand: Flash floods and mudslides hit Phuket after torrential overnight rain.
Rainfall reached 142.8mm in 24 hours at one monitoring station. All three districts have been affected, with more heavy rain forecast.
GERMANY: CRUISE SHIP CRASHES INTO CONTAINER VESSEL
TUI Cruises’ 293-metre Mein Schiff 3 slammed into the docked container ship MSC Victorine in Bremerhaven on Sunday evening.
Strong winds pushed the liner sideways despite tugboat assistance, reportedly tearing a 10-metre hole in the container ship’s hull. Several lifeboats were damaged.
No injuries reported, but passengers’ 20-day voyage is now in chaos.
King tides and gusty onshore winds are pushing feet of coastal flooding onto roads across South Florida. Meteorologist Paul Goodloe is live in West Palm Beach, where rising water has submerged streets and sidewalks ahead of high tide. Here’s the latest:
