@saermer Agreed. Where they lose me is when they have content outside of that monthly subscription that I have to purchase. Like WoW with its in game store. I get it for full blown expansions, but not for literally anything else. If I'm paying monthly I expect everything included.
@nocontextmemes Agreed. But the more realistic change is instead of trying to make 500 million, into a billion, on a worn out franchise, they should focus on trying to make a unique and fresh 10million dollar movie into a 50 million dollar success. Hollywood thinks bigger budgets equals more $$$
@Pirat_Nation Stardew Valley blew my mind! Used to think it was like Animal Crossing, but I couldn't have been more wrong. Its arguably one of the greatest RPGs ever made and you feel the hand crafted quality throughout the whole thing. Things just make sense in the game and there's no gotchas
@VeliteAquila Agreed. Being entertaining is first and foremost the most important thing. However when the direction you go is lamer than if you chose historical accuracy, is where you lose me.
@ShitpostRock2 Thats why I like games were one bullet does the job. Feels more realistic and makes all the guns fun to use. I do however pity devs that have to balance their games, that shit sounds hard af to get right
@DungeonNoir I always thought How's hunter class was a great rendition of the Ranger. For some reason the Ranger class seems to be underwhelming in most TtRPGs, but WoW nailed it
