@Asteroba Interval training is your friend. Still best for building endurance. Also rowing and swimming (assuming endurance is the goal).
I hate running too, have to force myself to do cardio of any kind but if you're serious you gotta work it in.
Good luck bud!
@EODHappyCaptain The field spaghetti this was the day/week before is the superior noodle + ground 'meat' dish, I will not be moved from this opinion
But the best hot chow is always breakfast, doesn't matter what it is. Marmite at breakfast is best
@LAGTVMB@cinnamontoastk Okay, wrong on that point - but is it a consignment sale? If so, still the stores wouldn't have purchased their stock they'd just be renting shelf space out to companies that are sending them bottles.
Honestly I'm just trying to figure it out, I fully support it either way
Opinion of ex-Army officer on qualifications to serve:
1. Physically capable of performing duties of role assigned
2. Qualified with assigned weapon
3. Won't run when the fighting starts
Nothing else has ever, or will ever matter. Period.
I have yet to see anyone comment on why so many federal employees were scared by the “What did you do last week” email. Reporting on status is no big deal for most of these people, they do it all the time. They’re not scared of a status report. What they’re scared of is the unknown.
Within the last month, many have gotten something they would have never conceived of: an offer to leave federal service immediately, with pay to the end of the FY.
New agency directors and administrators have been appointed, with accompanying sudden changes in policy.
And now the richest man on earth is telling them that they have to answer an email or be fired, and sending that email in a way that all their training tells them it’s fake/don’t open it/inform your security people someone’s phishing you.
What else is around the corner? No one really knows, and fear of unknown, imminent calamity is powerful.
My 5 accomplishments for the week:
1. All duties and responsibilities as reqd by management
2. Beat the kids on Mario Golf
3. Didnt abandon any recently borne children
4. Didnt spend 4 days in FL
5. Didnt have an 80s style chainsaw and blow fueled bender
I'd say time well spent
Indiscriminately terroizing a section of people comprised largely of men and women who have been trained and fought in wars for the majority of their lives is a decision.
Not a good one, but it is a decision.
If you joined the military for any reason other than because you wanted to serve your country, we don’t want you anymore.
I don’t care if this pisses you off.
We need patriots, not free loaders.
