@LMPD I live in NY and fully appreciated the joy that was found in what was, I’m sure, a difficult day. The whole country was dealing with this storm; it’s okay to look for the humor! HR can be the killjoys they’re bred to be. Just know that the real people loved your tweets!
@profontheright Please don’t include all teachers. Many of us older teachers know bs when we see it, and many of us call it out. Too bad we’re retiring in droves. That being said, yup- lots of current teachers have lost their minds.
@ThrillaRilla369 And herein lies the problem. We’re suggesting that schools do all the things families used to do. Schools cannot possibly meet all the needs of children, especially when so much of their budget goes to bloated upper administration.
@sappholives83 This is perfection. I’ve started to clearly state to my husband and son things women have to think and worry about that men do not. They truly don’t see unless it is explicitly explained to them. Well done.
@BenisonMrs And schools for which there is no accountability for behavior and expectations are lowered to avoid students and parents being “triggered.” Man, I hate that word.
And, while we’re on it, through homes that do not set and hold kids to high standards and expectations.
