Wcash Mainnet is producing blocks. Genesis is anchored to ZEC block #3,488,810.
Wcash block #1 arrived at 13:24:10 UTC, and the chain reached block #57 by 13:31 UTC.
Rewards ramp over the first 40,000 blocks and are paid to Ironwood shielded outputs.
Respect to @miningpoolstats.
For years, you’ve helped miners find pools, compare their options and follow the hashrate.
There’s a lot of work behind those tables.
A proper thanks to the people keeping them useful, year after year.

The funding code for @WcashFoundation is merged into Wolf’s main branch.

Molepool has launched zcash:native + $WEC merged mining.
This is important for Wcash: miners now have a second independent public pool alongside ZecWec.
Thank you, @MOLEPOOL1, for building and launching the integration. 🐺
🚀 Wcash (WEC) is now LIVE on Molepool!
⛏️ Mine Zcash (ZEC) + Wcash (WEC) simultaneously with Merged Mining (AuxPoW)!

More pools finding their way to Wcash while we’re still in slow start.
Mine Zcash. Merge-mine Wcash.
Wcash slow start just saw a 223 MSol/s mining burst.
For nearly 8 minutes, hashpower jumped from ~1.4 MSol/s to 223 MSol/s, finding 89 blocks before moving on.
This is why the 40,000-block slow start exists: open merged mining, real demand, and time for more miners to join. 🐺
