#ClayfaceMovie is easily my fav DCU project. Great score, good use of old fashion movie effects not reliant on extravagant CGI, and a solid mob movie feel. Despite the “Where’s Batman?” of it all, Matt Hagen is both tragic but clearly a villain by the end.

Even though its ranked higher on RT, I think the first Joker is better than Clayface. Both films are remakes of genre films, but Joker does a better job of character studying its lead. Clayface while fun, doesn’t breathe enough.

He killed over 20 million innocent Congolese, and oversaw a regime that amputated the hands of countless Africans.

Leopold was even buried in a Catholic church.

Even worse, Europe still honors this colonial monster with monuments, while his African victims are forgotten.

Imagine an African leader doing this to 20 million Europeans.

Would the world ever let them forget ?

On the other day, proving once again horror’s great momentum at US #BoxOffice, exhibitors have already over 3.500 theatres so far booked to screen #DCU’s first body horror #CLAYFACE. Not only one of the widest releases for horror in 2026, but also almost matching #SUPERGIRL, a traditional SUMMER blockbuster, which had 3.612 theatres in its opening weekend.
