Random Hot Take #357 - I think if the Skydance deal hadn't been so delayed, we might've gotten a season 4 announcement right away - no homes on the market, no dismantling of the set. It's clear CBS is relinquishing primetime to a specific demographic, one that still watches linear and heeds pharmaceutical ads. If Paramount+ had any money at all at the time of decision-making, perhaps we wouldn't be in this position. Really shitty timing. #SaveNCISHawaii

NCIS: Hawai’i’s final season ratings went up, Variety says ‘there should have been a way’ to bring it back

if christen press is calling you out you just gotta pack it up and retire bro there’s no coming back from that

So we're left with the takeaway that @CBS & @paramountco decided lesbian/queer communities don't belong, we're not good enough, for their #1 franchise. #SapphicRepMatters #SaveNCISHawaii @glaad

Homophobia, racism, and sexism. That's what happened.

"We look at where we see opportunities to potentially have even bigger success on the schedule." You're not going to do better than top #14 in views, and none of the replacement shows advance your diversity goals like #NCISHawaii does! https://t.co/xQF0bckEwX

Omg, how hard is it to bring back a hit TV show? Is it really that hard? It's a hit show! With more viewers than the #1 show on ABC! Heck, our #SaveNCISHawaii campaign has more 'likes' than The CW's #1 show has viewers. It's not like we're asking for charity. There's money to be made. #SaveNCISHawaii #DontBeCheeky

Just a reminder that Amy Reisenbach made sure to use Vanessa Lachey to promote the 1000th ep of NCIS and then cancelled NCIS Hawaii 2 weeks later with zero warning to the cast. Ending a show with great numbers and then lied about those numbers.

Over and over, @CBS has been embarrassed in the press for making a clearly awful decision. When is it enough? When do they admit they made a mistake? When do they fix this? CBS Has No Pride. #SaveNCISHAwaii

Tonight's CBS reruns include NCIS 21x08 ("Heartless") and NCIS: Hawai'i 3x05 ("Serve and Protect") at their usual airing times!

Instead of moving boldly into the future, @CBS and @paramountco (and other networks) have decided to firmly be entrenched in the past, even willing to sacrifice their own businesses and livelihoods to do so.
How ridiculous.

GIVE THEM BACK #SaveNCISHawaii

#NCISHawaii's cancellation has us wondering about the future of the #NCIS franchise.
