Wren has dealt with a lot of stigma from his family after coming out to them as gay, especially from his father. Wren claims to have put that behind him, however it had a big impact on how he deals with rejection. Wren is also a drag queen and enjoys the art form.

Jack is quite clueless to more progressive norms but does want to learn more about these subjects. So applies for universities in bigger, more diverse cities.
