Rage, retribution, dirt, grime, and a whole lot of style. Dev Patel shows us his moves. My review for #MonkeyMan via @WeLiveEntmt. https://t.co/jBmSwScuLA
Over on @WeLiveEntmt, I took a crack at explaining why some genre projects receive a “pass” from Emmy voters and why others - especially those that are more “populist” - often find their actors overlooked.
A.K.A. Justice for Sadie Sink!!!

For @WeLiveEntmt, I take a look at how Emmy victory for ABBOTT ELEMENTARY can give broadcast networks one final voice in the fight for attention and acclaim against streaming https://t.co/Hbe1VQr2OT
David Cronenberg's #CrimesOfTheFuture has its share of body horror, but I was most unnerved by a strange chair. Review via @WeLiveEntmt. https://t.co/wqxWZJ87k8
I believe I’ve found my favorite movie of the year so far. My review of the immensely entertaining and relevant #EmergencyMovie, in theaters now, coming to #PrimeVideo on 5/27. @WeLiveEntmt https://t.co/eDvQC6qqg7
As a casual fan of @BobsBurgersFOX, I found #TheBobsBurgersMovie to be a delightful time, with plenty of humor, heart, and music to keep anyone entertained with this extended Belchers adventure. Review via @WeLiveEntmt. https://t.co/SHHmnnf1Gl
Alex Garland's #MenMovie is out this week. It's another A24 horror film steeped in metaphors and pushing the effects of trauma. It's aslo visually great and quite creepy. Review via @WeLiveEntmt. https://t.co/tSbHjYFxh4
It was nice to see Disney let The Lonely Island and friends run as wild as they did with Chip ‘n Dale: #RescueRangers, as the movie has a lot of great gags and more going for it. Review via @WeLiveEntmt. https://t.co/ZQsCNGGZqJ
Season 3 of #BarryHBO is not only the best season yet of the show, it's one of the best seasons of television ever. Just perfect. See my full review @WeLiveEntmt : https://t.co/qF74y3Qeui
#TheBadGuys was very enjoyable. Feels like an animated film that took away all the right lessons from Spider-Verse. Funny, stylish, and cleverly thought out. Plus, it used a song from The Heavy that’s not “How You Like Me Now,” so, props.
“If this year’s Oscars proved anything at all, it proved that after a year like 2020, voters wanted to escape and feel good at the movies” - @ScottDMenzel

"Inevitably leaned toward other films, rather than away from the Netflix nominees. Any honest conversation about the awards has to take this into account."
