Rules change for 12-17s who want to enter Spain - new BOE confirms a negative PCR taken 72 hours before arrival will also be acceptable for 12-17 year olds if they don’t have a certificate confirming they have two vaccines. Under 12s don’t require tests. #travel#lovemenorca
Will @Spain_inUK 🇪🇸 recognise ‘single vaccine’ status for U.K. 🇬🇧 12-15 year olds considering the U.K. considers these teens to be ‘fully vaccinated’? Would save a fortune for families with teens currently required to have a PCR and makes no sense to continue to penalise them.
@papasmitheh @shezallo2012@Ryanair Yes although I suspect the demand was pretty poor for October - especially as the changes to travel rules came so late. Fingers crossed for next year!
If someone wants to spend 6 months of the year in a home they owned or rented before Brexit in an EU country they should be able to do so whenever they want.
They can’t now.
2 reasons the 90/180 rule is a *new* big problem for Brits:
1. Mandatory absence periods. No flexibility.
2. It’s shared between 26 countries (4 of which are not even EU countries.)
6 months per visit per country (matching UK) would have been a much fairer post-Brexit policy.
@GazPottsy@PPaulCharles@KirstieMAllsopp@ThePCAgency Yes this is the problem - such varying levels of pricing and service. It’s like the Wild West. I wouldn’t trust Expert Medicals with a fit to fly test but for day two it’s less of a risk. I used Randox last time and although they were very efficient it was £172 for 4 tests!
@GazPottsy@PPaulCharles@KirstieMAllsopp@ThePCAgency Their rapid test costs £28 - same as the Expert Medicals PCR so makes more sense to have the correct test booked in case anyone asks to see your booking confirmation. These tests are still too expensive though. Make them cheap or free and nobody will look for a loophole.
