We're currently working on a website re-design, focusing on news & guides for the city, produced by local journalists, without ads, without clickbait and without politics. 👨‍💻

⚠️ We are exhausted with reading news sites that are stacked with so many ads that it becomes close to impossible to read the actual information. We want to change that by having a no-ad policy and generating revenue by community memberships and sponsorships from local businesses.

🏢 Media goliaths prioritise views over reader satisfaction, focusing on clickbait content produced by AI or random journalists that have never visited the city that it covers. We want to change that, by paying local journalists who live in Bath and covering good news only, without the need to clickbait you into clicking on our links.

❤️ Typical news sites will use fear-mongering tactics to get you to view and share content. We won't be doing this and will not be focusing on any politics at all. We want to cover good news only, by and for the people of Bath.

To make this business a reality and build reliable revenue sources away from algorithms and clickbait we will be creating a membership that allows our readers to join a community that supports the city and independent journalism every month. This membership will grant access to exclusive local deals, invites to events and behind-the-scenes content found nowhere else. 🤝

All will be revealed soon. We can't wait to build the best news and guides source for the city of Bath, with you. 📆
