@ElyKreimendahl When I was the same age I worked at a dinner theater and that was a BIG deal. I saw someone break a glass in the ice maker once. You have about an hour to feed up to 400 people. They sent a bus boy to the gas station for 5 bags of ice while they cleaned out the ice machine.

WMZ update: I ordered a “new” server. It has more ram and better processors and is a few years newer than the spare that I have and it’ll let me keep the spare as a spare. I should have it by 4/19.

Another WMZ update. I got the server home, turned it on and it won’t POST, no nuthin. So I’m hopeful the data on the drives is intact. I have a spare server but am contemplating an upgrade. Will post more as I know more.

Another WMZ update: I have dead server and I have to see if I can get the data off the drives. I have a replacement 1u rack server it can go on that I need to add ram to and get the server OS installed on. Will be working on it this weekend. Stay Tuned!

Just a https://t.co/1E1FX5d3Qu update. I’ve not been able to go get the server yet. I had some family stuff crop up and a surprise vaccination appointment! I can’t get it early this coming week due to work but maybe Friday. Sorry!

https://t.co/4Ii9K9iut7 is temporarily off line. The server it lives on is non-responsive. I’m confident I can get the data off the drives even if not I have about a 1mo old offsite backup. I’m hoping to retrieve, rebuild and reinstall the sever in the next couple weeks. 😬

Hey everyone. Slightly bad news, https://t.co/Cqy0yUJ5DG is down 1st time in years. Unknwn what the prob is yet. Worst case scenario there are backups on the server itself so not too worried. Depending on availability of people on prem it might take until mon to get much done. 😒
