@OrResourceAssoc the stories of joy and sadness are plenty. Many of us have sat through funerals of people where #dsp is their only family. Showing up to a funeral where the audience is full of dsp staff says volumes. #raisethewage

@OrResourceAssoc and many, many agencies showed up to support Direct Support Professionals raise increase. This wage increase allows DSP's to continue the important work of working with people with all abilities.

I wanted to let everyone know about my guy Kevin! Kevin just started his new job with Les Schwab as a greeter in Hillsboro yesterday, so today is only his second day on the job! So far, he loves it, and he has not stopped smiling!

Pictured below is Ron Wortham and his wife Kay. Ron earned the DSP of the year around. He began as a driver transporting folks to and from work. Not long after, he became a Community Support Specialist and is a favorite among all. Congrats, Ron!
