Statement on behalf of Terry McDermott and his family
We are heartbroken by the loss of our dear friend, Kevin Keegan.
Kevin was so much more than a teammate. He was a lifelong friend whose warmth, loyalty, humour and passion for football touched so many lives. The memories they shared, both on and off the pitch, will be treasured forever.
Although Terry’s dementia means he is no longer able to express his feelings publicly, we know how much Kevin meant to him and how deeply this loss would have affected him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Jean, Laura, Sarah and all of Kevin’s family at this incredibly sad time. We hope they find comfort in the love and respect being shown for Kevin by so many people.
Kevin was one of football’s true greats, but to Terry he was, above all, a cherished friend.
He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. #nufc #lfc
We are deeply saddened by the passing of the legendary Kevin Keegan and mourn his loss. His indomitable spirit and remarkable contribution will be forever etched in our history and his legacy will live on.
Rest in peace, Kevin. 1951-2026
As you hear the latest news of Tory greed and corruption from the Covid inquiry, don’t forget that we had THREE pandemic preparedness exercises, the biggest, exercise Cygnus, in 2016.
Findings showed the UK was scarily unprepared for a pandemic. The Tories didn’t just fail to act on the findings they refused to fully participate in the exercise including making life or death decisions.
Ultimately, they favoured ideological austerity over replenishing stockpiles. Four years later Covid hit and instead of acting fast they thought about how their donors and mates could profit as our NHS workers used fucking BIN BAGS while attending to patients.
To add insult to injury the fuckers partied and got coked off their tits in Westminster as millions died and suffered in isolation.
Never forget what those scumbags did.
Everyone should be fucking FURIOUS at 90% of the press for sitting on this info about Farage, Tice, Jenrick, etc. for YEARS.
Through uncritical platforming and omission they showed extraordinary bias to Reform and let them brainwash millions. THEY KNEW. They SAT ON IT.
This isn’t just about Clacton.
This is about standards and rules.
Clean politicians don’t resign after a few days of moderate press scrutiny into their finances.
In fact, I’m not sure any other MPs have.
He’s a corrupt piece of shit.
Nigel Farage received gifts and benefits from a convicted fraudster. This can’t go on. Sign the petition to demand a FULL investigation into his undisclosed donations and gifts. We need answers: https://t.co/Rs83TsQ9DM
A full timeline of Nigel Farage’s grift and corruption

Farage used office space rent-free, failed to declare the benefit properly, and was fined by the Electoral Commission.
2. 2015–2016:
Whilst serving as an MEP, Farage’s EFDD group spent around €1.8 million of EU taxpayer funds improperly on his “Say No to EU” Brexit campaign activity, including paying for rallies in the UK, venue hire, banners etc

A true public servant and man of the people.
The more I dig, the more I realise that Nigel Farage is literally done for. It's over for him. The £5 million bung is big enough to take the entire Reform movement down and possibly land Nigel in jail.
1) The fact the donation was made BEFORE Nigel was MP is absolutely irrelevant. Parliamentary Code of Conduct requires all receipts for the full 12 months before election. Nigel receiving his bung just a few days before he announced his candidacy makes it so much worse, not better.
2) "Category 5: Gifts and benefits from sources outside the UK - THRESHOLD FOR REGISTRATION Section 39. Members must register, subject to the paragraphs below, any gifts or benefits with a value of over £300 which they receive from a source outside the UK."
Nigel argues this was 'purely personal' but the Code refers to partners or families when it comes to personal gifts... this takes us to the next issue...
3) Christopher Harborne has a long track record of making SUBSTANTIAL political contributions to Nigel's parties, first to The Brexit Party, and later to Reform. He is a POLITICAL DONOR - any "gift" he made to Farage CANNOT be argued as personal or without political context due to this track record.
4) Using his platform as an MP, Nigel went on to promote 2 companies in which Christopher Harborne holds $ billions in stock - Nigel NEVER publicly endorsed or mentioned these companies prior to the "gift". Nigel also began actively pushing for policy that would directly interest Christopher Harborne and his business affairs. These were not interests that any could argue could possibly be of interest to his constituents - deregulation of crypto, and lowering of taxes on crypto gains. Nigel spent a substantial amount of time and effort pushing these policies.
It is beyond a doubt that this is the biggest breach of Parliamentary Code of Conduct rules in relation to donations in parliamentary history.
But even more concerning for Nigel will be that if it can be proven he was secretly incentivised to use his public office to push for policies to support a wealthy donor, then he should very likely face a criminal probe for corruption and bribery. I suspect Harborne might also be exposed to this. The United Kingdom and Thailand have a bilateral extradition treaty. Maximum prison sentences of up to 10 years for the offence.
This is not going to go away.
There was absolutely nothing wrong with Starmer.
But we live in the era of misinformation, on a shitty little island full of thick, bigoted, easily manipulated cunts.
Leveson 2, please.
And maybe @Ofcom could fucking do something as well.
If you have a spare 3 mins and 45 secs today, watch this fantastic grilling by Sally Nugent on BBC Breakfast.
The very first time I've seen Farage questioned properly about his £5M bung, and it's fair to say, he totally fluffed it.
There are points when you can see Farage tremble and even accuse the BBC of putting him in danger. 🤦♂️
It was for security. It was for cars. Nobody cares. It's no one's business. He won't tell us. DANGER!
At one point, he let slip that the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards may 'disagree' with him on the rules around donations.
He knows he's going to be found guilty on this one. He's in trouble, and his face gave it away gloriously.
Top hats off to Sally Nugent. Stellar work. 👏
You should look at getting US citizenship @Tyson_Fury I’m sure Trump and everyone in his orbit will totally welcome you and your thick as fuck clan of idiots.
What a prick.
An utter embarrassment to the country.
👍🤘👌
De Niro: I hate to say it, but loving our country is starting to sound like an abused spouse saying they love their abuser.
I can’t love a country that starts stupid and inhumane wars, killing thousands of innocents and indirectly causing the deaths and suffering of millions more.
I can’t love a country that takes healthcare away from millions of people and uses that money to enrich their pals in the Trump-Epstein class.
I can’t love a country that sends out masked militias to shoot citizens in the streets, torture our neighbors, and separate families.
I can’t love a country that’s led by a racist, misogynist, xenophobic tyrant.
And let me just say it: I can’t love a country that’s led by Donald Trump and his sycophant Congress.
There are credible allegations made against Donald Trump that he mutilated a child’s nipples while raping her.
Allegations so serious, his inner circle had to meet in the Situation Room to discuss them.
I mean, how the fuck isn’t this the biggest scandal in the world right now?
⛔️⛔️ EXCLUSIVE: Ruud Gullit calls on Gianni Infantino to resign amid growing World Cup controversy‼️
"I have stayed quiet for a long time because I wanted to judge this World Cup on football matters. But the deeper we get into the preparations, the more it becomes clear that football is no longer the main story. For that reason, I believe Gianni Infantino should seriously consider stepping down as FIFA President.
⛔️A World Cup should unite people. Instead, this tournament is becoming a symbol of division, political disputes, travel restrictions, and administrative failures.‼️
There are only 8 Reform MPs and they have a combined wealth of over £70,000,000.
They have consistently voted against every single improvement to workers rights and plan to scrap legal protections left right and centre.
They are funded by the bosses to rip up your rights.
