It’s a waiting game until all of the animals have been checked out and cleared by Pender. But rest assured, they are in great hands getting lots of love and care.

If I get updates or fotos before Charlotte arrives, I will be sure to share with you all.

“The ☀️ is coming up in Kabul after a night of intense work. The 194 🐕 and 100 🐈 are in their custom made crates and have been carefully loaded on to the 24 🛻 and 4 vans. They, along with 50 KSAR staff, are now safely in the airport. Next stage is security screening, followed by the epic pallet loading. Stay tuned!”

Earlier in the year, a very scared Karen, very pregnant and with a horrific embedded collar wound, was rescued by KSAR.

Fast forward, Karen has healed miraculously from her wound and has six happy and healthy puppies.

Mama Karen will be going to her forever home in the 🇺🇸next week while her growing puppies - Allen Audre, Diane, Jones, Kenneth and Tom will stay at KSAR (and be loved and spoiled by their dedicated caretakers).

Only last Wednesday, Brawler and Olena were at risk of not being in our June 2nd airlift because they did not have placement waiting for them in the 🇺🇸.

Due to the tenacity of our supporters, placement stepped up at green eleventh hour.
