Arirang Comeback: Do This, Not That (Playlist Edition)
This comeback we won’t be dropping a strict playlist “template” or telling you to follow some complicated streaming system.
Those usually lead to repetitive patterns and burnout. It isn’t sustainable.
What I will share is some simple guidance on creating and using playlists safely.
I just want to encourage you to stream in a way that works for you that you can sustain because THAT helps the charts more than anything else.
Press play, stream safe, have fun.
Today: Playlist Do’s & Don’ts. 🎧
Note: My account is US based and all of my recommendations are focused on US charts. The info may help you outside of the US but if you have country specific charts, always check with your local fanbases for guidance.

Preorder info dropped for the limited edition vinyl.
In the US time zones, preorders will open tonight.
The details:
Honestly, we still don’t have all the details about which US retailers, if any, will have the vinyl and the ship dates for those retailers.
I’m hoping we will have the usual retailers but you never can tell with the special releases until they open preorders.
The Weverse ship dates vary by country, so we just have to wait and see the details for the potential non Weverse retailers in the US.
Just a reminder…many accts will have and post a lot of different opinions. Including my acct.
Some will be louder and more aggressive than others, but don’t get distracted or disturbed.
Remember…follow BTSs lead and you will be ok.
They are releasing a new vinyl for a reason.
They are releasing a new single for a reason.
Yes, it’s a gift but it isn’t an accident they both release on a Friday, the start of a new tracking week.
So, just remember…what’s important to BTS about their music always takes priority over what is important to an individual fan base or group of fans….no matter how loud they may be.
Relax and enjoy FESTA as it comes!
@Kheetah1 Right? It’s really a simple and natural thing to do. No drama.
I plan to add it to my focused playlists as well, just as many times as I have Swim. And add it to my album playlists if it isn’t already added to the album.
I already know this is going to be an issue for some and I don’t know any other way to address it without being very direct and blunt.
It isn’t hard to stream Come Over like it is a new release. It really, REALLY isn’t.
It is one song.
It should be streamed as a focus song when it is released. The same way we did Swim. This shouldn’t even be a question and I hope it doesn’t turn into one.
Again…it is ONE song, we should all be able to figure out how to focus stream ONE additional song while not abandoning Swim and the entire album, right?
There is so much to say about FESTA, I don’t even know where to begin.
First, it is a wonderful time of the year and ARMY is truly blessed with the amount of content and gifts we receive during FESTA.
It is a time to feel real fandom community and joy in and with BTS.
This year, we are getting Come Over released and I am so happy about that because it is an amazing song by Suga.
I hope it is released in a way that we can really support it and chart it, but if not…I know we will show it all the love anyway.
That’s all I will say for now, but this is a time for ARMY and BTS…so enjoy it!
Happy FESTA.

@SeriousHarmony I don’t even want to think about the money I spent.
When I paid $30 for 4 small chicken tenders, fries and a drink…I just stopped thinking of it as real money….otherwise I would have cried.
Ok…now that I am back from Vegas, here are some of my top observations and interactions with locals:
Locals Commentary:
“BTS fans are the most organized I have seen. I guess because they are on time which makes us Uber drivers happy because it is less chaotic.”
“There are always events in Vegas, like every weekend, but I have never seen an event completely dominate the city like these concerts have.”
“Are you ARMY? Ok, good, let me turn on a playlist for you. I have to ask every time because I can never tell who is a BTS fan or not because you guys are all so different.”
“Well, of course Vegas is all red…you bringing in 60k people for 4 concerts over 5 nights and spending on average $300 per day plus concert tickets and…(y’all he went on for about 5 minutes on the math and my eyes were crossing and I lost track). But he ended with “I would turn Vegas red too if that was the case. That’s more than anybody ever did at ALLEGIANT!”
“Their music kinda reminds me of a mix of Usher, Michael Jackson vibes, and Chris Brown.”
“There are so many different people here to see them. I went to Coldplay and it was mostly locals. I can’t believe how many people from outside of Vegas travel to see one group.”
My Observations and Experiences:
Vegas completely supported BTS during this trip. 100%.
The entire strip was turned red for Arirang (even more so than with PTD).
I met amazing ARMY on my flights to and from Birmingham and had random BTS discussions.
I didn’t see the guys or anything like that and I never knew where any of them was in Vegas. None of that type of info leaked or was floating around…at least I didn’t notice any.
ARMY was EVERYWHERE…I stayed at two different hotels (north strip and center strip) and they were both full of ARMY, so I felt like ARMY really embraced more of the city this time around.
I also got lost in Aria trying to find the exit and accidentally ran across the official after party spot at Jewell and the museum spot and it was ALL red for ARIRANG!
ok quick PSA bc i saw this at Allegiant and pls be aware and careful.
Be SUPER careful accepting rides from random people after the concert.
Like if they’re not clearly with an actual rideshare/company and the ride isn’t tracked in a system…that is a huge risk, especially if you’re alone.
I know post-concert exhaustion is real and there are always people out there trying to make extra cash, but if you’re paying cash and there’s no record of that ride anywhere…once you get in that car, you’re basically invisible.
Pls protect yourselves. Saving that 15 minutes or $15 is not worth risking your safety 💜
