5 sets of 5 reps twice a week
Week 1: 80%,77.5%, 75%, 72.5%, 70%
Week 2,5: 82.5, 80, 77.5, 75, 72.5
Week 3,6,9: 85, 82.5, 80, 77.5, 75
Week 4,8,12,16: 60% 5x10
Week 7,10,13: 87.5, 85, 82.5, 80, 77.5
Week 11,14: 90, 87.5, 85, 82.5, 80
Week 15: 92.5, 90, 87.5, 85, 82.5
Week 17: Max
Every week you’ll do bench twice.
Each workout you start at a heavier weight, and then go down 2.5% each set. 5 sets of 5 reps.
For 3 weeks you do the same thing but the initial weight is 2.5% higher than the last week.
And then the 4th week you chill and do 5X10 at 60% of your max
Then when you start cycle 2 (weeks 5-8), it’s the same thing, but you’re starting week 5 at the same weight as week 2. Aka, weeks 5,6 will be the same as 2,3 and then week 7 will start at your heaviest weight yet
By the time you’re on week 15 you’re you’re lifting in the 90 percentile of your max for 5 reps for multiple sets
