@AALordson @TheBlackPilgrim @xonphused I'm Agnostic and a skeptic of religion until religion provides evidence that an external God is micromanaging his creations. Medieval humans had very limited information on how the world works. The answers are still unknown.

@AALordson @TheBlackPilgrim @xonphused But you fail to consider that whatever created it must continually follow same process to maintain it. That process still exists today. Atoms are being recycled from the atmosphere and other life forms to replace damaged structures in life.

Science says a single atom isn't conscious, but a group of atoms bonded together can think. I feel atoms are conscious. To stay alive, we ingest atoms everyday. Hydrogen, carbon, oxygen and these atoms bind together to form structures

Who is responsible for looking for energy to repair and maintain the form of this sandcastle when it gets eroded by wind or water? The castle is energy in low entropy state(structured energy).

The denaris coin belongs to Ceaser, the Land occupied by the Romans belongs to God. Give it back.

@_OKJ__ The Ugaritic tablets shows El was the king of gods and his wife, Asherah. It also shows Baal fought with other gods like Yam, the sea god and won the battle. Baal was a storm god. It looks like these attributes were copied unto Yahweh as a new storm God that showed up later.

@xonphused Sorcery was very common in those times especially in Ephesus. Paul told us in Acts 13:8-10. Acts 8:9-11

In Egypt, Pharaoh's sorcerers successfully turned a stick to a snake. Exodus 7:11-12

@eagle_greg @alandidio Christians claimed Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice. Jews can't build a temple anywhere but in the location of the temple mount where the Muslim dome is located. If a third temple is required, it means Jesus is irrelevant and God still requires sacrifice.

@samueleyekosi This view is from John's gospel. According to Hebrews, Jesus is the high priest. What's the job of the high priest? Rendering ritual sacrifice to God. Jesus claimed to have offered himself for sins. God did not instruct him to. He died.

@athiestboi Jesus deliberately caused his own death. He entered Jerusalem to cause civil disturbance. Went to the temple and chased money changers, freed the doves and made merchants to lose money. He needed to be arrested for such acts just the same way protesters are arrested today.

@AALordson @TheBlackPilgrim @xonphused I am an agnostic seeker who studies history and nature. I am certain the Jewish God doesn't exist, but there could be a creator. If you want to know the mind of that creator, you study his creations.
