Rep. Harriet Hageman: A Democrat-appointed federal judge entered a consent decree that banned Republicans from serving as poll watchers. So, from the mid-’80s until 2020, Republicans were not allowed to serve as poll watchers in national elections.

The order had to be renewed by Democrats every 5 to 8 years. It remained in effect until the judge dropped dead and was ultimately overturned by an Obama-appointed judge, who ruled that continuing the decree was unconstitutional.

In other words, the Republican losers in the Republican Party just sat on their asses and took shit—as they always do. Think about that for a whole minute.

I had a flashback this morning... Years ago we lived in the DC area when my husband was stationed at the Pentagon.

One summer my in-laws came to visit. I had acquired tickets for us all to tour the White House. I was ready to go and went downstairs where my father-in-law, a proud WWII vet and retired AF officer, was waiting dressed in a suit and tie.

"Why are you so dressed up? It's going to be really warm!"

"Because I'm going to the President's house."

That kind of respect and patriotism died with his generation.
