@OleandSteenUK Your manager / person taking orders at 1 Bradford Ave London WC1B 3AU RUDE! Ask her about pastry options she told us to the labels. My son changed his mind on muffin. She told us off. Do me a favour, who is the customer? Definitely not worth £26.15 experience!
Woolies at R69.40 is expensive. These are the first ‘clean’ numbers excluding DJones.
On an Adjusted Heps basis, it translates to a P/E of ±18x.
More reasonable would be 15.5x = around R59.60.
Unless profitability improves, I’m not touching WHL at more than R60.
@CAPITALSIGMAza Would be hard to do but interesting plotting WHL rotisserie index against multiple factors EPS, Share Price or could become the real inflation index for mid-upper segment?
@NickKunze2 Thanks for the summary, Nick.
Woolies should also post their rotisserie chicken price in their SENS. It’s now a de facto Woolies Price Index 😄

@NickKunze2 Hey @NickKunze, a quick shout-out to show appreciation. When I want to know what's going on in the market, you're one of my first go to's! Thanks, all the way from the UK / Alex

Banks have moved out of the early sweet spot of the rate cycle when net interest margin expands but credit losses have yet to kick in.
Later in the cycle now, and credit losses are kicking hard. Trick is to try and pick the height of the loss cycle. I don't think we are there yet
