At the end of National Volunteer Appreciation Week, we salute the small but mighty band of women who founded W2S almost 20 years ago and all the dedicated board members who have served since, extending a hand up to women who need a lift to get where they are going in life.
Volunteer support takes many forms. We couldn’t provide our services without members of the community who bring us donations of clothing, accessories & cash or organize clothing and fundraising drives at work or among friends. Thank you all!
W2S applauds @WetCleaner on Cook Street for its generous support. We ask donors to make sure clothes are cleaned before they are donated. If they are not clean, we cannot accept them. Sometimes, we get a special item that’s worth cleaning, so we turn to WetCleaner. Thank you!
It’s thanks in large part to the @zontaintl#VictoriaBCCanada that Wear2Start has been able to achieve our mission for almost 20 years. This organization of volunteers has worked to support our shared vision of empowering women with financial and moral support. Thank you Zonta!
In today’s “outside-in” world, National Volunteer Week is very different – except for our recognition of our amazing Boutique Consultants. Each volunteer brings a unique talent to the team that makes Wear2Start a truly remarkable and incomparable organization. Thank you!
