Roko Simic was reported this morning by a croatian outlet that he was on Wearside for a medical. This would line up with rumours on forums of there being two medicals yesterday taking place.

Simic is a very highly rated striker he is 20 years old and is 6ft 3. He has been developing in the Red Bull setup at Salzburg most recently and has been linked with various top clubs over the past year or so.

He is a very mobile CF, with a good build due to his height and has even scored a goal and won a MOTM award in their UCL game against Benfica!

He has played 129 games and scored 41 goals!

Wilson Isidor (Zenit) & Roko Simic (RB Salzburg) have both reportedly had medicals over the last day at Sunderland!

Both are very highly rated strikers and could add some serious power to the SAFC frontline.

Wilson Isidor was first reported to be coming to SAFC on Tuesday when the Zenit CEO stated "Wilson Isidor is on his way to Sunderland, England"

The deal is reportedly a loan with an option to buy.

Isidor is a very talented CF standing at 6ft 1. He is a very mobile CF who has played on the flank a number of times. He would fit the RLB system like a glove. For only being 23, Isidor has had over 150 games in senior football scoring 48 goals.

JACK CLARKE SIGNS NEW DEAL 🔴⚪️

RUMOURS are circulating on forum boards and social media that Jack Clarke has signed a two-year extension to his contract at the Stadium Of Light!

I think we all hope this is true! Exciting days ahead?

As per (@Capt_Fishpaste ) Elliot Embleton is set to sign for Blackpool on a free transfer and is set to sign a two-year deal at the club.

The midfielder is currently having his medical and should sign soon.

Good move for Embo as he needs to find somewhere to play.

“I don’t want to force my way out of the club but, today, I’m very affected by this situation, I don’t understand, I feel wronged and betrayed,” he said. “I’ve had my mind made up since January and my destination has been known since June.

I’m waiting to leave, new investors have arrived and I’m at their complete disposal. My agent is continuing to do his job, and I’m leaving him to it. In my mind, I’m no longer here because since my last match and my farewell at the Stade d’Ornano, I don’t want to cheat my partners, the club or the fans.

There’s no clash, I’m just relying on the word and commitments of my managers and I have complete confidence in them. I repeat, I am at the disposal of the new management to explain my choice. It’s the reward for my hard work and investment, and I hope that everyone will respect their commitments.”

MENDY UPDATE 🔴⚪️

Mendy has made it clear to his new investors at SM Caen that he wants to leave and join Sunderland.

He had an interview with @footmercato and released a statement about the situation.

Hopefully this moves the deal along fast!

Payment structure is an issue for Wednesday putting SAFC in the hot seat!

Talks have continued and it is now believed that an outline fee has been agreed in principle as Danny Röhl's Owls look to secure what has been a key target throughout the summer. The fee required is believed to be somewhere in the region of £2.5m and The Star understands that personal terms between Ugbo and Wednesday are agreed."
