@FloatinBlossoms@BraveryAndBooks Ron gave Hermione a kiss before peeking under the blanket too. “Nope, no spiders in here. Trust me.”
He grinned, gently booping Rose’s nose. “Daddy doesn’t like spiders either.”
@FloatinBlossoms@BraveryAndBooks “No? It might make you feel less scared…” Ron said softly, pressing a kiss to the top of Rose’s head, holding her foot.
“You know when I get scared, Mummy’s magical hugs make all the bad things disappear.” He pretended to whisper.
@FloatinBlossoms@BraveryAndBooks Ron settled her down in the middle, closest to Hermione before heading to the kitchen to make her some warm milk.
He returned with her favourite sippy cup and climbed in. “There we are, much better now….” His arm wrapping around both his girls.
He gently scoops her up, cuddling her close. “It’s okay, you’re safe at him.” Ron kissed Rose’s head as he wrapped her blanket around her.
“Would Mummy cuddles help make it better?”
Rose gave him a nod as she nestled her head onto the top of her Teddy bears own head; her now slightly widen eyes resting upon the young mans sleepy features.
“Scwary, Daddy…”
One of her arms lifted away from her bear and towards the other redhead.
He turned on the bedroom light, rubbing his eyes as he enters her room. “Hey, sweetie. Is everything alright?”
Ron kneeled beside her little bed, gently patting her head. “Did you have a bad dream?”
She has woken up in the middle of the night and is sat up in her bed; hugging one of her teddy bears, while looked around the mostly dark room expect for a little night light near by.
….Calls out into the darkness.
There was a small huff, this time from the kitty. He wasn’t his babysitter! Just because they were dating, didn’t mean this tall human was officially family. Yet.
Crookshanks swatted at Ron’s hair, and then his nose. “Mmph, alright I’m studying…”
Her arms gently wrapped around him, her head resting upon his shoulder.
"I know, I know... But I'll always be right there in the stands cheering you on as well. Doesn't help that I've been getting a headstart on studying at the library."
“I know…hey…” He reached out, gently pulling Hermione onto his lap.
“I know, but Quidditch practice has made it hard to see you and I’ve missed you. Not an excuse but I promise, promise I’ve got this. You don’t have to worry about me not passing, I’ve got a girl to impress.”
"Lumos is for light. Alohamora unlocks doors." Hermione sighed softly, though she didn't pull away from him.
"Sounds like we have a lot more studying to do..."
"Yes!" Hermione nodded with a soft grin. This time, she reached over to hold his hand. He'd earned it.
"It also has cherries, chicken, and spiders. So I know I'll never see you willingly make one." A chuckle left her lips.
