I am back to trading weather markets on @Polymarket
This time instead of trading manually I am building a weather bot.
First target is 100$ profit
Here we go
$60 -> $1000 Challenge
Almost at $400 PnL in under a month on London highest temperature market.
The goal is to get to $1000
The London heat wave last week fucked me over but were back at ATH
Everyone talks about weather models and forecast skill in weather trading. Not many people talk about the trading side, which I’d argue is almost just as important as the forecast itself. This is something that has helped me succeed in this space.
@rexxbt1@GnatykA No they show the same data but earlier.
Wunderground can take over an hour to update after metar is released. Other sites update in a few mins.

And the data you're working with is much more vague and less deterministic than an average of the ensembles. But that's the point. everyone sees the same live data. The edge is in how you analyze it.
Who reads the conditions and gets what they mean, faster and better than the next person.

You adapt as the day develops, buy more temps to hedge, react to live data faster than everyone else. Current temp, cloud movement, how the day's tracking vs the morning forecast.
All of it pulled live from pws data near the station.
