@_LukeCSkywalker@amazingmap They aren’t “blocks of weather” they’re just different forecast zones. Each forecast zone has an office of meteorologists in charge of weather forecasting for that zone.

@CkWeather@MatthewCappucci@WxScholl It would depend on the location. Some areas can flood with just a half inch of rain in an hour while some areas it would have to be several inches of rain.
@meDannieD@MatthewCappucci @InterestingSci1 Tornadoes are small enough that they can spin either direction but the way shear sets up in the US results in most of them being counter clockwise.
