@_LukeCSkywalker @amazingmap They aren’t “blocks of weather” they’re just different forecast zones. Each forecast zone has an office of meteorologists in charge of weather forecasting for that zone.

@DayWalker378 @ctown2000 @BenNollWeather Nexrad radars can detect birds in the area. Including ones that are roosting. They’re certainly larger than raindrops.
@BenNollWeather Exhaust from vehicle traffic can also put more CCNs into the air to help condense the clouds.
