Exemple of a trade I took this morning based on a strategy named ORB 15 min. Obviously, you can use your own strategy, there are planty of good strategies that have proved their relevance. But when you choose your strategy, don't chance every time you sneeze.

Read till the end ! I put a screenshot of the trade below.

Let's start !

📉Short bias :

STEP 1 : 5 min TF = Identify the range between 9 AM and 9:15 AM (European time) by drawing a line of the highest point and lowest point of this range

STEP 2 : switch to 1 min TF = Enter when :
2a) The price crossed the inferior limit of the box = the lowest point line
2b) The VWAP is above the price
2c) the Chikou is free and not blocked graphically by the price

STEP 3 : Enter, and put your SL above 50% of the range, RR 1:1.5 with 0,5% capital risk (it's more than enough, we are trading and not gambling guys)

Context : I am always having a look to the Daily Weather Radar to identify the best asset to trade and go for it.

You should do so. I spend some time for us. It's a pity if you don't use this free ressource.

At least, challenge it if you don't believe in it. Use it to think about your own methodology. Nourrish yourself with it.

Last thing :

I won’t.

Because when you zoom out to daily data (last daily candle close as usual), the environment is still clearly risk-off.

This is the dominant structure of the market right now.

Indices and FX majors remain structurally bearish on the daily timeframe.

Momentum confirms it.
Participation is present.

Yes, we are seeing rebounds.

But rebounds inside a bearish structure don’t invalidate the trend.

AUD/USD

This is the only asset showing a cleaner bullish structure.

But it remains isolated relative to the broader market environment.

NASDAQ (Short)

Momentum exists but the environment is unstable.

Especially oil, which is currently driven by geopolitical volatility rather than clean technical participation.

Energy markets remain extremely sensitive because the Iran conflict threatens the Strait of Hormuz, a corridor carrying roughly 20% of global oil supply, making price reactions highly unstable.

🧠 My view

I remain bearish on indices.

The recent rebound doesn’t change my bias.

Why?

Because I trade based on daily structure, not intraday reactions to headlines.

Right now the geopolitical environment is extremely unstable.

The war involving Iran has already disrupted energy markets and supply routes, creating volatility and uncertainty across global assets.

When geopolitics drives markets:

* narratives change hourly
* sentiment swings violently
* short-term price action becomes unreliable

So I ignore the noise.

I stay with the daily data.

And the daily structure still says:

Indices = Short environment.

I will only reconsider if the data actually changes.

Not because of one rebound.

That means two things:

• But crowding risk is high

If the market reverses, it could unwind quickly.
