১৮ই মার্চ পর্যন্ত রাজ্যজুড়ে গরমের দাবদাহ বাড়তেই থাকবে। যার মধ্যে দাবদাহ সবচেয়ে বেশি থাকবে ১৫, ১৬ ও ১৭ই মার্চে। ২০ - ২৪শে মার্চের মধ্যে বিশেষ করে দক্ষিণবঙ্গের জেলাগুলিতে উল্লেখযোগ্যভাবে বজ্রবিদ্যুৎসহ ঝড়বৃষ্টি হতে পারে।

১২ই ও ১৩ই মার্চ দার্জিলিং, কালিম্পং, জলপাইগুড়ি, আলিপুরদুয়ার ও কোচবিহার জেলায় বজ্রবিদ্যুৎসহ ঝড়বৃষ্টির পূর্বাভাস রয়েছে। অন্যদিকে সমগ্র দক্ষিণবঙ্গে সর্বোচ্চ তাপমাত্রা অনেকটাই বাড়বে।

আজ গুজরাটের বেশিরভাগ জায়গায় স্বাভাবিক থেকে তীব্র তাপপ্রবাহ হয়েছে। সারা দেশের মধ্যে সবচেয়ে বেশি তাপমাত্রা রেকর্ড হয়েছে ভুজ-রুদ্রমাতায় ৪২.৪ ডিগ্রি সেলসিয়াস।
