Only just got round to this, a loss to a better side on the day. We posted 181, which seemed a good total.

We were a few bowlers short and it showed, didn’t create enough pressure after the opening spells and lazy fielding allowed two bats to get settled and kill the game.

Our 1st team do have a game, and probably our most important game of the season as we host @BarntonCC at the WCG. A few lads missing but we still have a strong side out looking to repeat last years result and beat Barnton at home!#UTFR

Some disappointing news to start today off as our 2nd team have had to concede today’s game against Oakmere due to unavailability with around 20 lads unavailable this week.

And the 2s get the win, bowling Winnington Park out for 109.

Louie picks us 4/19 off 8.3 and Elliot takes 4/16 off 7.

The runs were spread around with Lushano making his first 50 for the club, Ben and Laxman both scored in the 40s.

Always great to win in the local games!

The 1s lose today, batted first and posted 124, our top 5 scoring 102 of them, with our bottom 6 only scoring 9 runs between them.

We managed to take 6 wickets off Stockport before they knocked it off.

Our 2s posted 179 and currently have @wpcc 57/3 off 20 overs…

Our 2s host @wpcc 3’s at the WCG today, again plagued by unavailability, we’ve managed to get a strong 11 out!

The 1s travel to top of the league @Trinity_Cricket in what is usually a tough game but we are a better side now which should make for a real competitive game🏏 #UTFR

@geoffmcgrath A poor result for us tonight Geoff, we allowed Barnton to post 166 of their 20 overs after limiting them to 42 in the first 8. Missed a few chances to take key wickets and left ourselves a mountain to climb with the bat only managing to score 80odd whilst chasing.

Hoping we can finally play our first T20 game this year, although the weather doesn’t look great, we travel to Barnton tomorrow!

A win should see us get through the group as we picked up 4 points last week and we field a side that gives us a good chance🏏#UTFR

A win for the 1s in the end, Hayden carried his bat with 87 runs to help us chase 176 for 6 wickets!

The 2s missed out by 7 runs in the end but a good result with the issues we had

Our 2s have bowled Rostherne out for 111 and are currently chasing, unsure on the score as it’s not on Play Cricket.

Our 1s bowled Lymm out for 174 and are currently 97-2 off 17 with Hayden bringing up his 50 in style!

Looks promising for two wins for us🤞🏻

Our twos with another convincing win yesterday, bowling Mere out for 54 and chasing it down for 2 wickets!

Our 1s bowled @PeoverClub out for 159 but fell 4 runs short, being bowled out ourselves for 155 when chasing. Positives from the game and we are now 5th in the table.

The usual suspects in the side with a few lads helping us out. Club icon Ollie ‘Sex Bomb’ Plank doing us a favour and filling in, Ernie with his last game before moving away and Matty helping out too! #UTFR

Tonight’s T20 fixture has been cancelled, Kingsley have conceded due to having a few call offs due to exams so they can’t field a side.

It gives us our first points of the T20 campaign, not the way we’d like it to go but we move to Saturday’s games, teams to be announced soon…

The 1s have posted a massive 292 in our 45 overs.

50s for Hayden and Dinesh which aided Tharsan to score a huge 112, a maiden ton and a first ton in 1s cricket in the club in nearly 10 years!

Rain has us off at the moment, hopefully we can get back on and wrap the game up.
